Our Periodic Elevator Test Tags are designed for both electric and hydraulic elevators requiring Category 1 and Category 5 testing. For hydraulic elevators, We combined Category 3 and Category 5 onto one tag, custom options are also available. Use the dropdown menu to select the configuration that fits your job.
Unlike printed or sublimated tags commonly used in the industry, our tags are made from durable anodized aluminum—offering a rugged, professional finish designed to last in harsh machine room and hoistway environments.
Each tag includes three columns for test date entry, allowing:
• Up to 3 years of use for Category 1 testing
• Up to 15 years of use for Category 5 testing (when tests are performed every 5 years)
After performing the inspection, simply record the test date directly on the tag using your preferred method—scribe, engrave, or mark.

• Hydraulic Elevator: Category 1 or Combined Category 3/5
