Door Operator Data Plate – Minimum Door Closing Times
The EDP Door Operator Data Plate provides a clear, permanent location for recording the minimum door closing times required for power-operated elevator doors.
Designed around the requirements of ASME A17.1/CSA B44 Section 2.13.4.2.4, the plate provides dedicated fields for minimum closing times at both Normal Operating Speeds and Reduced Operating Speeds, with separate values for standard/light and heavier hoistway doors where applicable.
A dedicated Heavy Floor(s) field allows the corresponding landing(s) with heavier hoistway doors to be clearly identified.
The clean, easy-to-read layout includes:
- Minimum closing time – Light doors / Normal Operating Speed
- Minimum closing time – Light doors / Reduced Operating Speed
